Terms of Service

By using Daqqah, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About the service

Daqqah is a lightweight social app that lets friends send short emoji "daqqah" pings to each other, create small groups, and share quick moments. The service is provided "as is" with ongoing updates.

2. Eligibility

• You must be 13 years of age or older.
• You must own an active phone number capable of receiving SMS verification.
• You must not have a previously-suspended account for violation of these terms.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
• Do not share your account or verification code with anyone else.
• If your account is compromised or you lose access to your phone number, contact us immediately.
• You may delete your account at any time from in-app settings.

4. Acceptable use

When using Daqqah, you agree NOT to:

• Send violent, sexually explicit, hateful, or rights-infringing content
• Harass users or send repeated unsolicited messages
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Attempt to access other accounts or our infrastructure without authorization
• Use bots or scraping without our written permission
• Abuse "Add From Contacts" to mass-send invitation messages to people who haven't asked for them

We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

5. Content you post

• You retain ownership of content you post (messages, images).
• You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display that content within the app solely to operate the service.
• You are responsible for content you post — make sure you have the right to publish it.

6. Paid subscription (VIP)

We may offer a VIP subscription unlocking additional features. Subscriptions are managed through the App Store and renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage your subscription from your Apple ID settings on your device.

7. Service interruption and change

We strive to keep the service available, but downtime can occur for maintenance, upgrades, or causes outside our control. We may add, change, or discontinue features at any time.

8. Disclaimer and liability limits

The service is provided "as is". We do not warrant it will be error-free or available 100% of the time. To the extent allowed by law, we disclaim liability for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will publish the updated version on this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts having jurisdiction.
